LSE Sportsgrounds

The LSE has 17 acres of playing fields in New Malden, Surrey. There is a main pavilion which houses changing rooms and shower facilities, as well as a bar and dining hall. Sporting amenities include seven football and two rugby pitches in the winter and two cricket squares and one grass tennis court in the summer. These facilities are available for use by staff and students of the School and are available for hire by external users when not in use by the Athletics Union.

 

Campus Spaces

Squash courts can be found in the East Building; Court 1 is located on the 3rd floor and Courts 2 and 3 are located in the basement. For more information about joining the squash club or using the facilities, please see the Squash Club pages.

 

Clubs and societies are also able to book the Badminton Courts, Old Gym and Parish Hall spaces. If you want to book one of these spaces, please check the current timetable and contact Heather Carroll to enquire about booking. Rehearsal space in the School can also be booked if these facilities are full - please see Usage of Teaching Rooms page for more information.

 

LSESU Gym

You can find us on the 1st floor of the East Building, above the ARC. We are a fully equipped gym, complete with air conditioning and plasma screen Televisions showing Sky TV.
