Athletics Union

The Athletics Union is the life and soul of the Students’ Union and is the largest (2,000+ members) society in a small University. The AU’s central aim is to provide sport for all no matter your ability and despite LSE’s central location, the Union provides a range of easily accessible facilities. From karate to kitesurfing, capoeira to cricket, the choices are endless for beginners and budding national champions alike. Clubs cost between £5 and £25 to join for students for the academic year, with some also charging a class fee; please note memberships are non-refundable. Sign up online, at the Freshers’ Fayre or in the Activities Resource Centre (ARC) on the 1st floor of the Saw Swee Hock Student Centre (current opening hours are 10am-4pm).

Sports teams play regular competitive matches in the BUCS leagues. Please read and sign the AU Pledge.
