LSESU Liberation Session: LGBT archives

A selection of material from the Hall-Carpenter Archives, usually only viewable in the Library’s Reading Room will be on show. Don't miss the chance to see and discuss this selection of material relating to LGBT activism from the late 1950s onwards.

Tuesday 25 November 2014
3pm - 4pm
Library’s Teaching and Activity Room

As part of the Union's work on Liberation this year, the LSE Library have offered LSE students this brilliant chance to see historical materials such as  magazines and publications (such as Gay News and Sappho from the 1970s) as well as some archives from groups such as the Campaign for Homosexual Equality, Gay Liberation Front, Kenric and the Lesbian and Gay Christian Movement.

See here for more information on Halls-Carpenter Archives and here for the Union's campaigning work.
