LSESU Employability & Development: Careers in the Sports Sector

This seminar will discuss the different job roles in the sports industry; from finance to HR, sports coaching to sports development and marketing to business analysts.

Monday 23 February 2015
1pm - 2pm
LSESU 3rd Floor Meeting Room

The Session will be led by Jo Carrington, Careers Consultant at LSE Careers.

This seminar will discuss the different job roles in the sports industry; from finance to HR, sports coaching to sports development and marketing to business analysts. The sports sector has a wide range of opportunities. We’ll begin by outlining the jobs that LSE students have gone into in the industry, 6 months after graduating, moving onto look at how this can aid in your careers research. This seminar should help you generate ideas for your own career, whilst giving you a chance to reflect on how the skills you have gained in your sports club could be transferable to your job search.

The LSESU Employability and Development Program is a series of free training sessions designed to develop exactly the sorts of skills which you will need after LSE.
