Tango Argentino for Clean Water in Kenya

Tango Argentino is the original tango from Argentina and Uruguay that has conquered Europe's Ballroom Dancing Schools - one of the most elegant, expressive and intimate dances. This is a basic introductory workshop with all proceeds going to charity

Tuesday 10 February 2015
8pm - 10pm
Saw See Hock Student Center, 6th Floor

Tango Argentino is the original tango from Argentina and Uruguay that has conquered Europe's Ballroom Dancing Schools during the last few years - one of the most elegant, expressive and intimate dances.

In contrast to the more common 'Euro Tango' or 'International Tango', Tango Argentino is much freer and less regulated.

In this workshop, you will learn basic techniques and steps of Tango Argentino, as well as a few moves and variations. Everybody is welcome, you don't need to have any prior dancing experience, nor do you need to bring a partner.

Tickets are £3, additional donations are welcome! All the proceeds go to Sarah's Climb High 2 Dig Deep project, which raises funds for clean water and sanitation facilities in rural communities in Kenya. Check out the facebook page and/or her blog (http://climbhigh2digdeep.tumblr.com/) for more details about the project and Dig Deep, the charity!

We are looking forward to seeing you!
