A week of events designed especially for PhD students, by PhD students – an initiative to support you effectively through your studies.
27% of the PhD students we asked requested an yoga exercise session. This session will be ran by Yoga teacher and LSE PhD student Dagmar Myslinska.
After a short centering exercise, this relaxing and rejuvenating class begins with a slow flow through a basic sequence of poses, allowing you to connect more deeply with your breath and to focus on your alignment. Most of the class is then spend doing stretching poses on the floor, each held between 2 and 4 minutes. The long holds encourage your body and mind to completely let go. This class is a great option for people who crave deep tissue release, and for anyone who suffers from tight muscles or stiffness.
All you need is some clothes you can move in and a bottle of water and we will provide the rest!
