** Give Rowing a Go **

Groups of new rowers will be taken out on the water for small 30 minute long outings. You will be accompanied by a coach in a nearby powerboat and at least 2 experienced rowers in one of the club’s 8 man rowing boats. It will hopefully give you an idea of what it’s like to be on the water in a rowing boat, including how to get your oar stroke right while balancing the boat. You will have a chance to go out on the water more than once should you wish to, but this will probably involve waiting around, so also feel free to leave after your first go if you want to, however we hope you'll join us for at least one go!

You can get the train from Waterloo to Chiswick and then walk to the UL Boathouse from here.
