The Wellbeing Project: Managing exam stress and mindfulness

The exam stress workshop will allow participants to: (a) understand the ways in which stress manifests during exam periods, and (b) help cultivate a range of wellness tools and techniques to lessen the symptoms of exam stress. The workshop will explore the following themes:

 

  • How does stress impact our well-being? Explaining the relationship between the mind and the body. 
  • Why are exams a common trigger for stress? Understanding the link between exams and stress, and the common pitfalls of exam preparation.
  • What wellness tools are available for lessening exam stress? Exploring the range of mind-centred and body-centred wellness tools and the connections between them.   

 

All ages, levels of study and levels of experience welcome.
