LSESU Union General Meeting

Democracy in action! At the UGM you can debate motions raised by LSE students, ask questions and hold the Sabbatical Officers accountable to their promises.

Thursday 05 May 2016
noon - 1pm
LSESU Studio, 6th Floor, Saw Swee Hock Student Centre

All LSE students are welcome at the weekly Union General Meeting, organised by the LSESU Democracy Committee. Motions raised at the UGM are put to vote, and if they reach quoracy (250 votes) and pass democractically, they can mandate LSESU to take a stance or fulfil certain actions.

In the hour, you can listen to the proposers and opposers of the motion, ask questions and join the debate with other students. Sabbatical Officers and Part-Time Officers also report on their projects and plans.
