Are you a French Food enthusiast? Do you love Truffles? Are you an amateur wine-taster?

If the answer to any of these questions is affirmative, join the LSESU French Society for a "Gourmet discussion" about the Art of French Food, Wine, and Truffles with the Michelin starred chef, Michel Chabran.

Michel Chabran will be at the LSE on the 22nd of February at 7pm to share his passion and knowledge about Haute Cuisine and gastronomy.

In his suitcase, he brings with him a jewel of the French Terroir and one of the most famous and mysterious mushrooms to be found in the South East of France: the tuber melanosporum, also called black truffle. On Friday evening, you will be able to taste its delicate perfume while learning more about its history, as well as the economics of his local truffle market.

This event will also be a unique opportunity for you to taste homemade foie gras specially cooked by Michel Chabran’s kitchen brigades.

A perfect tasting can only be accompanied by good and specially selected wine. You will also be invited to taste some white wine from Jean Luc Colombo's vineyard. Colombo is a famous wine maker from the Rhône valley and a very good friend of Michel's.

The Michelin starred chef will finally say a few words about his region, and the importance of working with unique & local products.
