Advice Centre

 

Our professional advisers can help with a range of issues including housing, immigration, visa extensions, employment problems, welfare benefits, grants, fee status and disability rights.

 

For academic enquiries please go to the Student Service Centre or contact the Education and Welfare Officer, Ruhana Ali, on su.edwelfare@lse.ac.uk.

 

Location

We are based on the 2nd Floor off the East Building, off Houghton St, on the main campus. Please come to the S.U Advice and Counselling Centre Reception, which is in room E297.

 

Opening Hours

 

Drop-in sessions for students:  

Term Time: Mondays and Fridays only 10:30-16:00. Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays between 10:30-13:00.
Vacation: Every weekdays between 10:00-13:00.

Outside of these hours students can see advisors by pre arranged appointments.

 

All Services are FREE and advice and counselling are provided in strict confidence.

The Centre is accessible to students with disabilities via lift, but telephone appointments can be arranged if preferred.
