Advice, help and support at LSE

 

 

 

If you need some advice on revision techniques or stress management or even just need to have a moan to someone about exams, you are not alone! There are many support providers at LSE who are more than happy to speak to you:

 

Teaching and Learning Centre (TLC) Counselling Service

Professionally qualified counsellors offer fifty minute sessions of confidential and impartial advice. Study Skills

Individual study-skills and exam-advice sessions are available with the Teaching and Learning Centre's (TLC) student advisers, Dr Tony Whelan (quantitative) and Lynne Roberts (qualitative) throughout the academic year. The TLC also offers one-to-one writing tutorials with the LSE Royal Literary Fellow, Marina Benjamin. If you need any advice regarding your academic work, your progress or your individual courses you should contact your tutor and/or your class teachers in their office hours which are displayed in the relevant department.

 

Nightline

- the confidential student listening service run by students for students on 020 7631 0101 or at www.nightline.org.uk which is open every night in term time form 6 pm to 8 am.
