Loans (UK students only)
Almost all undergraduate students being funded by government loans are part of the "Student Support Scheme". Different points of contact apply depending on whether your course began before or after this date.
If problems occur in your initial application process e.g. in determining whether you are eligible, if you are an undergraduate whose course began after September 1998 you should contact your Local Education Authority. If your course of study began before September 1998 should take problems with initial application to the Undergraduate Office.
If problems occur with payment of your loan, or you have queries regarding repayment/deferment (no matter when your course began), you should contact the Student Loans Company, which administers payments, repayments and deferments, at www.slc.co.uk
