What to Bring to London
Here is a little list of things that you might want to bring to London with you... I'd say these are pretty essential for the first term, but obviosly, of you forget to bring them then don't worry - there are millions of shops in London, selling everything.
- PassportVISA (If necessary)
- Driving license, and other forms of ID if you wish to get a bank account
- Any correspondence from LSE (put it all in a neat folder - makes Freshers week much easier!)
- PASSPORT SIZED PHOTOGRAPHS (you can get them done at the Post Office, but ti's easier of you have them already)
- Warm clothes (essential) HatGlovesScarfCoat!
- Cutlery and crockery - labelled pans and other cooking implements (THESE CAN BE BOUGHT OVER HERE, TO REDUCE TRAVEL COSTS. ALSO, YOU MIGHT WISH TO CONSIDER SHARING WITH YOUR NEIGHBOURS TO SAVE ON KITCHEN SPACE!)
- Marker pens and sticky labels to label your food in the kitchen
- Blue (or even better, white) tack, to stick up posters to decorate your room!
- Posters and blankets, to make your room your own
- Computer and ethernet cables (adaptors, if required)Extension cables (YOU CAN BUY AN ETHERNET CABLE FROM THE SU SHOP IN THE QUAD FOR UNDER £5, WHICH ENABLES YOU TO PLUG INTO THE LSE LAN IN YOUR ROOM/LIBRARY).
