All LooSE members who gain three production credits (which you get if you contribute substantially to three LooSE projects) become part of the Production Group. The PG meets at least once a term, and hears reports from the Executive.
The PG's role is to hold the Executive to account, and the Constitution gives it a number of powers to do so:
+ Only the PG can vote in LooSE Executive Committee elections.
+ Only PG members can stand for election as Network President.
+ It ratifies the budget submitted by the Network President.
+ It hears complaints brought by members against the Executive for alleged breaches of the Constitution, such as unreasonably censoring the work of a LooSE filmmaker.
+ It can overturn Executive decisions.
+ Disciplinary action against the Exec and against members is decided by the PG.
The Constitution gives LooSE members, whether in the PG or not, the right to complain to the Production Group Chair against decisions of the Executive. The Chair has the power to call a meeting of the PG to discuss it, where you will have speaking rights and, if in the PG, the right to vote on any decision taken against the Exec members concerned.
