If you have an event coming up that you want covered, we can do this in two ways:
+ Filming a report of the event - This results in a relatively short report (10-20 mins) which airs on LooSE TV, usually with highlights of your event rather than the full thing, depending on its length. If we use the LSE STARHUNT 2005 as a guide, it was a two hour event that was edited down to a fifteen minute 'best of' segment. We usually approach the filming of the event in a journalistic way rather than producing a video recording of the event. This kind of programme showcases your event to the SU and aims to capture its essence, while making a short, enjoyable film for people to watch.
+ More comprehensive coverage - this involves filming the entire event as video coverage rather than a journalistic report. The ends to which the video is put are yours to decide. Usually we will make a report on it, but primarily our coverage would be to produce a DVD for the society. We may offer this service for a fee, the amount of which may be negotiable but will depend on factors such as the complexity of the project, the number of LooSE people required and the duration of producing the film.
E-mail us if interested, but please note that our ability to do either depends on members being able and willing to take these projects on. We do our best to reach out to members with these requests, and usually members take them on, but we can't always guarantee they will. Still, never hurts to ask.
