The Script Magazine

Founded in 2001, The Script is one of the youngest of the LSE's student media. A new edition appears around the campus once each term, the first in Freshers' Week. The Script is the SU's very own magazine of political and social opinion and publishes articles on a range of topics that can be as diverse as the interests of the students and recent graduates who write them.

Although each edition contains an editorial, the selection of articles is not tied down by any political stance on the part of the magazine. Instead it prints contributions from accross the political spectrum. Recent editions have carried articles on race relations, European integration, war in Iraq, free trade and anti-Americanism.

Most new articles start as an idea put forward by a would-be contributor, so if you have a point to make and you'd like to see your views in print, then get in touch: The Script could be the launch-pad you're looking for.  Students who are interested in contributing should also join our mailing list: this keeps you updated throughout the year on plans for publication, and gives you the chance to submit something for consideration.
