As well as increasing awareness on matters affecting Albanians in the Balkan region, Albanian Society here at the LSE aims to open a window of information for those interested in Albanian culture, tradition, history and current affairs. Through public lectures with invited VIPs, book launches, cocktail and dinner parties, joint events with other societies and organizations, trips, picnics and festivals, we also aim to bring students together from various backgrounds, promote collaboration in the Balkan region and encourage intercultural understanding here at the LSE and beyond.
