The Central and Eastern European Week
If the Gods of the Seven Seas present us with their mercy, we will be utmost happy to welcome you at the Central and Eastern European Week (March 3-7, 2008). The joint initiative of Bulgarian, Czech and Slovak, German, Hungarian, Polish, Rumanian, and Slovenian societies will aim to promote the diversity of our culture through a variety of events including the public lectures, ambassadors panel discussion, Brunch Bowl theme week, folk dancedemonstrations, food fair, movie screenings, possibly the dissemination of pop music at Crush... Moreover, we are open to any reasonable suggestions that may rise from your bewildered imaginations.
Events in London
Czech Centre London organizes events throughout the year to promote art, music, film, literature, theatre, business coming from Czech Republic. The events in 2007 included a week long exhibition of The New Czech Cinema, a series of lectures on contemporary Czech architecture and a variety of classical and pop music events.
