The Filipino Society was set up in 2004 and
aims to promote Filipino culture to both Filipinos and
non-Filipinos alike; membership stood at 63 in 2006.
Past events have included debates, a Winter Soirée,
food parties, cultural seminars, a talk by the Head of
Unesco Asia-Pacific and a karaoke Christmas dinner.
