The LSESU Opera Society is entering its 6th year and is definitely one of the major success stories of the new societies. With as many as 160 members, the Opera Society connects people who are passionate about Opera, Ballet and Classical music. We regularly have heavily discounted tickets for the best concerts, as well as contact with the big names such as the Royal Opera House Covent Garden and the English National Opera. Last year we arranged an amazing trip to European Conference Opera Days and two operas in Paris. We also organize a number of social events, including the annual opera quiz. The Opera Society is therefore a great one to join if you want a bit of culture this year without breaking the bank.
