Founded in 2002, the Romanian Society aims to promote a better knowledge of Romania, Romanian culture and of current developments in the European Union's newest member state. Comprising both Romanians and non-Romanians alike, the Society has regularly organised free food and wine-tasting events, presentations, movie nights and conferences, especially during the traditional Romanian Week which takes place every year at LSE.
