Societies are expected to use all means of advertising available in order to maximise students particpation and ensure the success of their events. The sooner you can start to advertise your event the better as it gives your members the chance to arrange their schedules and their finances around your event.
The School’s Reprographics Department will print posters, leaflets, tickets and flyers for you. To use this service you will first need to obtain a quote from the Reprographics Department and then the Society Treasurer must see
The Union sends the Houghton Street Review to all students on Monday of each week during term time. To advertise your event in the global emails contact the Comms Officer at su.comms@lse.ac.uk by Thursday.
You can advertise the date, time and venue of your event in LSE News and Views, which is printed by the School weekly. Contact Tony Sym (extn. 7417, e-mail: Sym,T), before 17.00 on Monday for the following week's issue.
The SU newspaper, "The Beaver" is printed weekly. To advertise your events and meetings or place any information about your society on the Societies Page contact Carys Morgan, the Societies Officer at su.societies@lse.ac.uk. To place a half or full-page advert for a particular event, there is a charge which may be paid by internal transfer.
