Officially RAG stands for ‘Raising And Giving’, and we’re the very important part of the LSESU that raises as much money for charity as possible in any and every way imaginable, giving you the unmissible, once in a lifetime opportunity to spend your Uni days having fun, meeting new people and having some of the best, most exciting and unforgettable experiences you’ll ever have! Whatever takes your interest, RAG’s ingenious events are guaranteed to have something to tempt you. This year we’ve got crazy fancy dress Pub Crawls, RAIDs, skydiving, abseiling, socials, an amazing Freshers’ Ball, and even a Hitch to Paris, all topped off by the annual and fantastic RAG week; a whole week of hectic, hair-brained, hilarious RAG activities. RAG’s success is due to the brilliance and enthusiasm of RAG members (that’d be you guys!!); energetic volunteers, who get involved and make RAG activities as fun and as lucrative as they can possibly be. You can be involved in absolutely anything; playing to your talents or trying something new; be it in organising and publicising events, working with fantastic charities, gaining sponsorship or just taking part in all the legendary events. I really hate clichés but, it has to be said, that the experiences you have with RAG will be some of the most memorable and amazing of your life – it’s never anything except for great fun!!

This year’s first RAID is in London, Saturday October 13th for Marie Curie Cancer Care, and the amazing Freshers’ Ball is on Tuesday October 16th right in the heart of London's Leicester Square so be sure to get your £15 tickets pronto - cos it's gonna be a fantastic night and we’d hate you to miss out!
