The Education and Welfare Officer represents your views on various committees, influencing School policy. Providing for student welfare and support is key; work ranges from representing individual students at school panels to proactive SU campaigning. Ruhana’s door is always open if you need any advice, or more generally to talk. Ruhana’s priorities for this year include enriching the student experience through “Welfare Wednesday” activities, campaigning for collective exam feedback, and improving the course representatives structure to ensure your opinions are heard. Promoting a happier, healthier student experience by continuing the fight for affordable education and against discrimination in all forms.
