Following the successful opening of the New Academic Building, the Estates Division is starting on the next phase of campus development at LSE with the redevelopment of St Philips. Housing the Students' Union, LSE's aim is for the site to become a student hub at the heart of LSE's campus.

Have your say

Six innovative architectural practices have been shortlisted to design the new Students' Centre and their proposals are now online. Staff, students, alumni and governors are all invited to cast their votes for their favourite design. To view the designs and for more on the redevelopment of St Philips, see http://www2.lse.ac.uk/studentsCentre/Home.aspx. Votes can be cast from 10-18 June so please do visit the site and give your views. Votes will provide an important steer for the committee that will pick the winning design later this month.

Drop in day

Estates is holding a drop in day on Monday 15 June, 10am-4pm in Z030, St Philips. All are welcome to attend to view the displayed designs and put questions to the architects. Please note that this date has been changed from the originally advertised date of Thursday 11 June, which has been rescheduled due to the tube strike.
