Monday 3rd December - Saturday 8th December
BE A PART OF THE SOLUTION!
Climate change is the greatest threat facing mankind and challenges everything we assume about the way we organise society.
During Week 9, world leaders will meet in Bali to discuss reducing global greenhouse gas emissions and the LSESU will be running a week of events in the run up to the Saturday 8th December worldwide climate change demonstrations to raise awareness of and promote action for a low carbon world!
MONDAY 3RD DECEMBER: Can We Reduce Global Emissions without Hurting the Poor? Contraction and Convergence, 7pm, New Theatre

FRIDAY 7TH DECEMBER: Day of Climate Action!
For the end of the week, there will be banner making sessions for the Saturday demonstration and a drive for petition signatures and RAG collections - before we present the petition to the school and total up the amount of money raised!
Tens of thousands will gather in London to call for meaningful action from world governments on climate change! Meet on Houghton Street at 11.30am to go along with the LSE contingent!
THROUGHOUT THE WEEK: CHECK OUT THE STALLS ON HOUGHTON STREET, SIGN THE PETITION FOR RENEWABLE ENERGY, RAISE MONEY FOR CHARITY AND EAT ORGANIC FOOD IN THE CATERING OUTLETS!
