Format of the event :
1.05pm debate will commence. All candidates (or representatives) will have 5-7 minutes to speak. The second session which is the questions session, will be open for everyone present, however priority will be given to LSE Students. (any changes will be informed prior to the event)
Themes :
Student affairs in general including student transport and housing, Anti-Racism Issues, Environmental Issues, Accessibility/Disability Issues, Safer London, Multiculturalism (focusing international students) and Olympics 2012.
Recent Union Campaigns :
TFL Campaign – Lobby with ULU for single day pass discount, Living Wage campaign, Ethical investment policies (divestment policies) – countries include, Sudan and Israel.
