Right to Education

In a historic UGM in January 2007, LSE students voted on a motion to twin our Students' Union with An-Najah National University in Nablus, Palestine. LSE students also mandated our Union through a democratic vote to support the Right to Education Campaign (http://right2edu.birzeit.edu/) based in Palestine and to raise awareness of the impact of the Israeli occupation in the right to education of Palestinians.

This website contains information about this mandate and news about our current activities. Please contact su.gensec@lse.ac.uk if you would like to be part of the task force set up to forward this campaign.

The menu on the left will guide you through the information about education in Palestine and why LSE students should support this basic human right that is being violated by the illegal occupation.
