The LSESU Physics Society organizes talks and lectures centered around physics-related topics (such as: the physics of everyday life, cosmology, relativity, and connections between physics and finance, etc.). These will be presented by guest professors from other universities. Members can also expect frequent socials and workshops.

The aims of our society are:

  1. To foster engagement and interest in physics, allowing LSE students to broaden their horizons beyond the social sciences.

  2. To make physics and science enjoyable and accessible for students of all departments, interests, and backgrounds

  3. To facilitate discussion and intellectual exchange between academic institutions by bringing in professors from other universities
