Colombian

Introduction

The LSESU Colombian Society has approximately 70 members every year, comprised of Colombian and non-Colombian students. The society was established in 1999 by LSE students as an organization to promote Colombian culture in the UK and to expose and educate the LSE community on the issues affecting the country. With this objective in mind, the Society holds academic and socio-cultural activities enhancing Colombian values and fostering the UK and Colombian ties. Every year, the society's memberships are renewed. Thus, the new LSE community is in charge of institutionalizing the links between current and past members through the LSE Colombian Society Alumni Network in Colombia.
