Join us on the largest student-led holistic development and social responsibility movement. Global Brigades is an international non-profit organization that connects volunteers and under-resourced communities to resolve health and economic disparities. In order to do this, Global Brigades organizes student-led trips to Central America and Africa, where students can use their skills developed at university to help those in the developing world. Set up in late 2009, the Global Brigades society at LSE aims to send LSE students to Central America and Africa during the term breaks to participate in any of our avaliable brigade programmes. For instance, in the last few years we have organized brigades to Panama and Honduras, where students helped build economic opportunities for people in under-resourced communities. Our society also operates within a global network of over 110 university chapters that collaboratively work towards an equal world - meaning you will also get to meet people from all over the world whilst on your trip! Global Brigades also proudly partners with Deloitte to increase impact on business brigades in particular!
For a detailed description of what Global Brigades is and information on the upcoming trips for 2019 please read this document.
