We are the LSE Students’ Union Society for all students interested in international relations and international affairs. Established in 1923, we are also the oldest student society of the School and we work to provide our members with stimulating and unique academic and social events within and outside of the school.  We frequently host talks from IR academics and practitioners, panel discussions, students conferences, socials and outings. Grimshaw is also one of the few LSE student societies to organise study trips: we send ‘student delegations’ to meet with politicians, diplomats and civil society leaders in countries with interesting and important political situations.
