What is your favourite thing about LSE?
Definitely the community. LSE has such a diverse group of students and I've genuinely enjoyed getting to know so many amazing people. Through classes and societies I have made friends for life, learned more about myself and my place in the world, and had fun along the way.
What's your role all about?
Raising...and giving! As RAG President I coordinate student fundraising across campus throughout the year, and make sure we raise a ton of money to give to deserving charities.
Whether it's hosting Freshers and other wicked club nights throughout the year, or arranging challenges that give you the chance to trek to Machu Picchu or the summit of Kilimanjaro, RAG puts the fun in fundraising.
You'll often see me across campus wearing crazy outfits and with a fundraising bucket in hand, so don't be afraid to come and say hello!
What advice would you give to someone new at LSE? OR Describe yourself in three words?
- Sign up to whatever cool stuff you can! LSE offers great opportunities to have fun while making amazing friends, so make the most of them!
- Go to lectures - you're paying to be here, and there's so much for you to learn. Embrace challenges to the way you think, and explore your interests!
- Get involved with RAG - we put the fun in fundraising! I joined in first year, had the best time and made friends for life - I wouldn't be President if I didn't enjoy it!
