Cambridge - Eco-Mosque Trip

10:30am - 6pm
Cambridge

"The Earth is green and beautiful, and Allah has appointed you his stewards over it.” (Muslim)

Join us for a day trip to Cambridge!

Take a break from studying to learn more about the important role of our religious institutions in community building, through a tour of Europe’s first Eco-Mosque!

The Cambridge Central Mosque exemplifies the ideal mosque for the 21st Century; the sustainable eco-design gives it a near-zero carbon footprint, honours natural forms with sustainable timber vaulting, and reminds the visitor of our connection to nature. Combined with family spaces, exhibitions and a community centre, Cambridge Central Mosque showcases the potential of our places of worship to foster community development.

We’ll also be visiting other sites in Cambridge, including Cambridge Muslim College and Kings College.
