Event supported by the Department of Social Policy Green Impact Team.
The School has investments of donations and endowments as well as funds held for capital projects and strategic investment. LSE’s Socially Responsible Investment Policy guides the School's investment practices, and Environmental Social and Governance (ESG) factors are a key aspect of our investment decisions.
At this town hall type event we will explore LSE’s current approach to responsible investment, and the next steps LSE could take to incentive the transition to a net zero carbon economy – including investment and divestment approaches.
Panel:
• Chair - Coralie Simmonds, Manager Centre For Macroeconomics
Neil Gaskell - Chair of the Investment Sub Committee, Prof Nick Stern - Grantham Research Institute, Caroline Butler – Investment Advisor to LSE, Mike Ferguson - Director of Finance
Please note: this event is open to current LSE students, staff and alumni only.
Event subject to change.
