Has anything changed since #MeToo? Hands Off on Sexual Violence on Campus

Thursday 01 October 2020
1pm - 3pm

Sweeping claims have been made about how #MeToo has changed power structures in the most visible sectors in society. But is this true at LSE? Alison Phipps, Professor in Gender Studies at Sussex will explore this question alongside Dr Anna Bull from the 1752 Group, which researches student-staff sexual violence, as well as two students, Anaelle from the Hands Off campaign, and Sumaya, LSESU’s Women’s Officer. They’ll discuss how Universities handle sexual violence and what changes still need to be made.
