Give It A Go
Give It A Go is all about exploring LSESU’s amazing, student-led sports clubs, societies and the media group societies. At the start of every term we give students (non-members) the chance to attend free taster sessions with some of our best clubs and societies to see what they’re really like without having to pay membership to join.
These different activities will fall under 5 different themes: Get Active, Learn A Skill, Relax and Socialise, Be Creative, and Share Your Culture, so you will get a flavour of what to expect from the Give It A Go session before you go!

Let's Swing!- Give Swing Dance a Go!

SAW Venue - Basement of the Students’ Union building
With expert teaching from Tom and Cicci, members of the swing dance society have the chance to take part in one of the most fun societies that LSE has to offer. This is the perfect way to get fit, meet lots of new faces, and dance to brilliant music. With swing classes covering a breadth of styles (Lindy Hop and Charleston) covering beginner levels you can be sure to progress quickly and have a lot of fun doing it.
Give it a go session will feature the beginnings of basic swing steps and styles, eventually moving on to couple dancing. Will also include a time to socialise towards end of the session.
Places are limited! To reserve your place and guarantee entry (as well as receiving updates about any room changes) just request a free ticket.
