Come along to the Beyond the Classroom launch event to sign up for skills sessions! Beyond the Classroom is a series of free, skills-based workshops, delivered by leading charities and companies, and experienced advisers from LSE Careers and LSESU.

Come along to the Beyond the Classroom launch event for priorty sign-ups to skills sessions! At the Launch we will offer all attendees the first chance to sign-up to sessions on the programme. The event will also feature speakers from the LSE Volunteer Centre and LSESU, and will be hosted by Julia Ryland, Activities and Development Officer. 

 

Pizza and free alcoholic and non-alcoholic refreshmetns will also be provided. 

 

You will be able to sign up sessions such as Event Management, Managing Conflict, Volunteer Recruitment and Management, and Working with Children.

Beyond the Classroom: Skills Sessions

This is a qualifying session under the LSESU Leadership Accreditation.

LSESU Beyond the Classroom is an employability training programme designed to provide you with the opportunity to develop, learn and grow.

The programme offers a series of free, skills-based workshops on topics such as Managing Conflict; Public Speaking; Sponsorship; Campaigns; Event Management; and Social Media. Last year the programme received an 88% satisfaction rate from attendees and we put on a number of brand new sessions such as First Aid; Sign Language; and Coding. Sessions have been delivered by leading charities and companies, such as EY, the ONE Campaign, Teach First, and experienced advisers from LSE Careers and LSE Students’ Union.
