Give It A Go
Give It A Go is all about exploring LSESU’s amazing, student-led sports clubs, societies and the media group societies. At the start of every term we give students (non-members) the chance to attend free taster sessions with some of our best clubs and societies to see what they’re really like without having to pay membership to join.
These different activities will fall under 5 different themes: Get Active, Learn A Skill, Relax and Socialise, Be Creative, and Share Your Culture, so you will get a flavour of what to expect from the Give It A Go session before you go!

Rooftop Cycling and Breakfast
Thursday 29 September 2016
8am - 9am
6th floor of the Students’ Union building
Cycling on the roof of the Students' Union Building whilst enjoying the view, socialising and having breakfast together. Our team bikes can be docked on 'turbo' trainers that enables them to be ridden without the bikes actually moving. Individuals of any ability can cycle for as long as they like at any pace they want without feeling pressured to 'keep up with the pack'. Using the bikes in this way is beneficial in that the individual can ride at the pace they choose and for the duration they want, if they would like a break or to stop, they can simply get off and another individual can jump on and start pedalling! Anyone attending does not have to cycle if they do not want to, committee members and others will be available to chat to about Triathlon, LSE or anything in general. A healthy breakfast will also be available to encourage a filling and good start to the day and facilitate individuals to stay and chat. People can come and go as they want whenever that is, flexibility is ensured to make the session as inviting to as many people as possible. All this whilst enjoying the spectacular view and avoiding the London traffic!
Places are limited! To reserve your place and guarantee entry (as well as receiving updates about any room changes) just request a free ticket.
If you are a new student starting at LSE and you have not registered in LSE yet, then you will need to create a guest account on this website to reserve a place. Get started by clicking Options (top right) then 'Guest Account'.
