I would like to welcome all new and adept GTAs to the new academic year 2016/17.
This is to invite you to the first ever GTA Conference, which is to take place on 5 October 2016 from 6pm onwards at the PhD Academy. I will briefly present most recent survey results that are based on your answers. These are only some topics to introduce an open discussion about GTAs at LSE. We will round up with the election of LSE's first ever GTA Representative! Please join me in congratulating the new GTA rep with the following socials and drinks.
The outlook is great and all that is left is for you to be part of that process. I have gathered influential school (including the PhD Academy), SU (including the Sabbs), and even UCU representatives behind me, to finally tackle long lasting problems LSE's GTAs face. All is prepared and all you need to do is to show up numerously at the GTA conference. This event is open to GTAs exclusively and will help us to finally talk openly about common problems that we all face.
