Give It A Go
Give It A Go is all about exploring LSESU’s amazing, student-led sports clubs, societies and the media group societies. At the start of every term we give students (non-members) the chance to attend free taster sessions with some of our best clubs and societies to see what they’re really like without having to pay membership to join.
These different activities will fall under 5 different themes: Get Active, Learn A Skill, Relax and Socialise, Be Creative, and Share Your Culture, so you will get a flavour of what to expect from the Give It A Go session before you go!

Women's Cricket Give it a Go
Wednesday 05 October 2016
10:40am - 1pm
Meet at the entrance to the St John's Wood Tube Station
The LSE Women's Cricket Club was founded in 2015, and to kick off its second season, we're giving you a chance to try out a sport that has been exploding in popularity with women across the world in the last few years.
We'll be holding the session in the incredible Indoor Cricket Academy at Lord's Cricket Ground: widely renowned as the 'Home of Cricket' and regularly named as the greatest cricket ground in the world. You will get 2 hours with a coach- who will be helped out by players from the Men's 1st XI- who will take a fun and engaging session on the basics of batting, bowling and fielding.
It will be a chance to find out about the more regular coaching sessions, meet some new friends in what is already a highly social club and play a part in the continuing development of this new and exciting club!
We look forward to seeing you there!
