Political spectrum: LGBT + in Politics

Perdita Blinkhorn, your LGBT+ Officer, will be hosting an exciting evening panel event open to all.

The event will be a panel discussion formed of high profile LGBT+ politicians from a range of political parties, aimed at re-engaging LGBT+ students in politics and understanding why LGBT+ individuals chose the political path they did.*

Speakers will include the first openly gay MP and the first openly transgender parliamentarian, but we'll be letting you know the full list of those attending soon, so stay tuned for more information.

This event will be fully accessible. There will be BSL interpreters present and priority seating at the front of the venue. If you will require priority seating on the night, or have any other accessibility requirements or questions, please email su.lgbt@lse.ac.uk

A drinks and networking session will be held on the 6th Floor of Saw Swee Hock from afterwards from 7:30pm

*Please note that all speakers have been invited to share their personal experiences of being LGBT+ in politics and are not necessarily there to represent the views of their affiliated political party.

The LSE library will be hosting a series of exhibitions starting 9th January - 7th April.

Please have a look at the events being featured in the library. For more information please contact library.enquiries@lse.ac.uk
