Join us for one of our most anticipated sessions of the term - an introduction to British Sign Language! 

 

Join this introductory session to learn some everyday words and basic signs from British Sign Language. 

The session will include a brief background of British Sign Language, finger spelling, and numbers, as well as phrases such as 'hello' and 'thank you'.

Beyond the Classroom: Skills Sessions

This is a qualifying session under the LSESU Leadership Accreditation.

LSESU Beyond the Classroom is an employability training programme designed to provide you with the opportunity to develop, learn and grow.

The programme offers a series of free, skills-based workshops on topics such as Managing Conflict; Public Speaking; Sponsorship; Campaigns; Event Management; and Social Media. Last year the programme received an 88% satisfaction rate from attendees and we put on a number of brand new sessions such as First Aid; Sign Language; and Coding. Sessions have been delivered by leading charities and companies, such as EY, the ONE Campaign, Teach First, and experienced advisers from LSE Careers and LSE Students’ Union.
