Sunday 04 March 2018
10:30am - 3pm
6th floor of Saw See Hock
The LSE Consent Team will be joining CARE's March4Women for International Women's day on 4 March 2018. We would like to invite all LSE and University of London students to join us! The consent team have organised a breakfast and meeting point at the LSE Saw Swee Hock Building at 10.30am prior to the march. We will then walk together to Trafalgar Square to join in the events organised by CARE and show our solidarity.
The march begins at 12pm and more information can be seen on CARE's facebook event, https://www.facebook.com/events/201459457082224/ or on their webpage, https://www.careinternational.org.uk/march4women.
We are marching in solidarity and celebration of 100 years of the first female suffrage in the UK and in support of the need to continue raising awareness of the sexism, abuse, harassment or violence women still experience. The breakfast and march is open to all and we are hoping to reflect the diversity of students in London.
We will also be hosting a poster making session on the evening of 1 March, details to follow soon.
