SU 6th Floor Cafe
Let's talk about periods.
This event is aimed at reducing stigma around both periods and period poverty whilst raising funds for Raise The Roof Kenya, which is raising money to provide menstrual products for women and girls in Kenya.
The first part of the event will be a talk about period poverty and what we can do to help, afterwards there will be some chill games to stimulate conversation about periods and period poverty.
Everyone is welcome, both people who experience periods and those who don't - open and respectful conversation about periods is for everyone to participate in if we're going to eradicate stigma!
Panel discussion about period stigma and period poverty with the following speakers: Natalie Byrne (author/illustrator of Period.), Ru Chulkova (Women's Environmental Network), Emilie Epperlein (My Hairy Vag), Tate Soller (project period).
