In collaboration with GoBrazil, the Bacchus Wine Society proudly presents a wine tasting evening where we will taste exotic wines from Brazil in light of the remaining uncertainties surrounding Brexit.
GoBrazil is a company based in Suffolk that focuses in the expansion of knowledge to the wines produced in Brazilian vineyards. They boast a portfolio of different wines produced in Brazil, and have attended multiple events in the UK to promote Brazilian wines, such as BBC Winter Good Food Show, Specialist Importers Trade Tasting, Cheltenham Wine Festival and London International Wine Fair (Olympia).
On the evening, we will be presenting guided tastings of 5 wines sourced from vineyards from Brazil:
- Sanjo Nobrese sparkling Chardonnay NV @ £12.00
- Sinais Moscato Giallo (dry) 2019 @ £11.50 / bottle inc.VAT
- Sinais Sauvignon Blanc 2018 @ £11.50
- Pizzato Reserva Alicante Bouschet 2005 @ £12.00
- Don Guerino ‘Vintage’ Malbec 2017 @ £14.00
The event will be held on 21 November 2019 at 19:15-21:00 in CBG.1.02 and entry will begin at 19:00; last entry to the event will be at 19:30. We will be checking ID for age verification upon entry, and no tickets will be available at the door.
Tickets for the event will be £2.50 per person. We will be releasing 50 tickets for the event, and tickets will only be available for our members only. Tickets will be released via the SU website (date: tbc). If you manage to secure a ticket and later realise you cannot come to the event please inform us either via our Facebook page or email by the latest 24 hours before the event, such that we can reallocate your tickets to other interested members; members that do not turn up and failed to inform us may be barred from entry to our next event.
We promise you the event will absolutely be worth the price, and hope to see you at the event!
Finally, DRINK RESPONSIBLY!
