The CSR and Ethical Business Society, in partnership with NGO Redress, presents Frontline Fashion, a documentary following 10 emerging sustainable fashion designers who are determined to change the future of fashion. The screening will conclude with a Q&A with Annie MacKinnon, one of the designer featured in Fashion Frontline documentary.
Documentary Synopsis: As finalists in the EcoChic Design Award – a global sustainable fashion competition – all ten head to Hong Kong to prove their worth as talented and innovative designers who won't compromise on style. The prize is to design an upcycled collection for Chinese luxury brand Shanghai Tang but there can only be one winner. The fashion industry is the second most polluting industry after the oil sector. Fashion Frontline examines how a change in perception and practices could turn one of the world's most polluting industries into a sustainable one. Watch the trailer:
