The LSESU Amnesty International Society publishes a Human Rights journal every year. Postgrads and Undergrads alike have demonstrated exceptional dedication in the previous issues of the Journal. This year we hope to revamp it by recruiting a robust Journal Subcommittee, who will come up with a theme for the year and run the journal until its publication in Lent Term. Most importantly, other than digital publication of articles throughout the year, we will be publishing actual copies of the Journal at the end of the year for distribution!
This is a specific reception dedicated to celebrating and setting up the future of the Journal. The committee will present the journal and its background, advertise opportunities, and get to know people who are interested. If there's an issue close to your heart, if you find empowerment in writing, or if you just have great skills to contribute - join us and mingle!
