Following the success of LSE Schools, this year we are introducing our new competition which is exclusively for Year 10 and unders. This will focus on the development of young debaters by giving them a chance to debate in a competition specifically aimed at their age group and experience level. We hope this provides a valuable opportunity which is not otherwise available in the London circuit.
Key points:
- Registration is £30 per team.
- Lunch will be provided for all participants and teachers.
- As a development opportunity we are allowing older school students to attend as judges. You can indicate that you would like to send judges on the registration form.
- Full and partial reg fee waivers are available. Your school may be eligible if it is a state school, outside of London or has not attended LSE Schools on the past 3 years. Please apply via the registration form.

Registration: 9:25-9:55am
Welcome Briefing and Introduction to British Parliamentary Debating: 10:00-10:30am
Round 1: 10:30-12:00pm
Lunch: 12:00-1:00pm
Round 2: 1:00-2:30pm
Round 3: 2:30-4pm
Break Announcement and Final: 4:00-5:30pm
Final Result and Prizes: 5:45pm
End Time: 6:00pm
